Pedal For Pete

Long hot day in the saddle. Can't remember when I last did 100 miles. Got left behind with Blair, Katie, & Gabe at the next to last food stop - Thanks, Team! Nearly hit the deck when Blair went down in the gravel (I thought he was taking a nap). Ready to shoot myself by the time we reached Milford Center. Dead to the world by the time I got home. Here's a hint for you young riders - one hour trainer rides don't prepare you for 100 mile rides at 20mph. Glad I went - glad its over!

We had 20 people from the team show up for Pedal-with-Pete. I had a slight mishap when I tried to bunny hop a ditch in the road and my right hand slipped off the bars and I hit the deck. Just happy I didin't take a team mate out. I lost some skin in the deal.

Great Cause, ride, food stops, lunch and SAG support! It was also great to ride and meet up with Team Echelon

Great ride for a great cause. Really enjoyed riding with the team until the first stop. Next year maybe I won't be racing on Sunday and will do the full century. Looking forward to the next team event.
